FOGHAT

LIVE & LOUD ACROSS THE U.S.A.

The Boogie Rolls On.

Some bands survive on memories. Foghat continues to make new ones.

More than fifty-five years after forming in the UK, Foghat remains one of rock & roll’s hardest working and most respected live bands. While many of their contemporaries have slowed down, Foghat continues to tour extensively, record new music, and deliver the kind of high-energy performances that have made them a fan favorite for generations.

The 2026 Twang & Bang Tour has kept the wheels turning with performances across North America, Hawaii & Finland bringing audiences the unmistakable blend of blues, boogie, and straight-ahead rock that has become the band’s trademark.

As they head into 2027, the band is celebrating their new triple vinyl release on October 30, 2026, Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. This new offering captures Foghat where they have always been at their absolute best-on stage. Recorded during performances in cities across America, this powerful live collection highlights a band that continues to play with the passion, chemistry, and fire that have defined Foghat since 1971. Featuring many live recordings being released for the first time, the album is a testament to a group that refuses to slow down. Instead, Foghat remains exactly what it has always been: a great live rock & roll band.

Foghat’s story began in 1971 when drummer Roger Earl and lead singer/guitarist Lonesome Dave Peverett left Savoy Brown to form a band built around American blues and British rock influences. That vision produced a remarkable catalog of music, from their first single in 1972, a rockin’ rendition of Willie Dixon’s “I Just Want to Make Love to You” to the multi-platinum albums Fool for the City and Foghat Live, introducing timeless classics like “Slow Ride” while establishing Foghat as one of the premier live acts of the 1970s.

Today’s lineup continues that tradition with founding drummer Roger Earl joined by longtime guitarist and producer Bryan Bassett, acclaimed guitarist and vocalist Scott Holt, and bassist/vocalist Rodney O’Quinn. Together they have created a lineup that honors Foghat’s legacy while continuing to write, record, and perform with the same excitement that first launched the band more than five decades ago. With the addition of Scott Holt, who spent many years playing with Buddy Guy, the band has come full circle to their original Blues/Rock days when first leaving Savoy Brown. And the fans love the camaraderie and fun that the band are having on stage. It is infectious!

That creative spirit was reaffirmed with their 2023 studio album, Sonic Mojo, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues/Rock Albums chart, remaining in the Top Ten for 34 weeks! It reminded both fans and critics that Foghat is still creating vital new music. The album’s blend of original songs and inspired interpretations of blues classics demonstrated that the band’s songwriting and musicianship remain as strong as ever.

Adding another dimension to Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. is a third vinyl disc featuring Shaken & Stirred by Earl & the Agitators-the blues-rock project featuring Roger Earl, Bryan Bassett, Scott Holt, and Rodney O’Quinn. Originally released in 2018 under the nemesis Earl & the Agitators, Shaken & Stirred explores the band’s shared passion for blues, roots rock, and classic American music. Its inclusion as a Foghat record transforms Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. into far more than a live album, offering fans an expanded musical experience and an even deeper appreciation of the chemistry that fuels Foghat both on and off the stage.

What has never changed is Foghat’s connection with its audience. Every performance is built on the same philosophy that has guided the band from day one: great songs, honest musicianship, and an unwavering commitment to giving audiences everything they’ve got.

“As long as people keep coming to the shows and having as much fun as we do, we’ll keep doing this,” says founder Roger Earl. “We’ve never taken our fans for granted. They’re the reason we’re still out here, and every night we walk on stage, we want to give them everything we’ve got.”

That philosophy has carried Foghat through millions of records sold, thousands of concerts, and generations of fans who continue to discover the band for the very first time.

Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. is not simply another live album. It is a snapshot of a band still firing on all cylinders-a celebration of the music, the friendships, and the fans who have made this remarkable journey possible.

Roger Earl sums it up best:

“We’re still having a blast. I love playing with this band! We have a lot of fun making music together and genuinely enjoy playing for our incredible fans. As long as we can keep doing that, we’ll keep rolling down the highway.”

More than fifty-five years after it all began, Foghat continues to prove that great rock & roll is not measured by the calendar-it is measured by the energy on stage.

The road stretches ahead. The amps are still turned up. And the boogie rolls on.

Keep on Rockin’
